Agenda a Chofnodion

The Chair welcomed all to the Committee Meeting and proceeded to Agenda.

An apology for absence was received from County Borough Councillor S. Evans.

1.    Mae gofyn i Aelodau ddatgan rhif a phwnc yr eitem y mae eu buddiant yn ymwneud ag ef a mynegi natur y buddiant personol hwnnw; a

2.   Lle bo Aelodau'n ymneilltuo o'r cyfarfod o ganlyniad i ddatgelu buddiant sy'n rhagfarnu, rhaid iddyn nhw roi gwybod i'r Cadeirydd pan fyddan nhw'n gadael.

In accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct, there were no declarations made pertaining to the agenda.

Derbyn cofnodion o gyfarfod blaenorol y Pwyllgor Penodiadau a gafodd ei gynnal ar 5 Gorffennaf 2022.^.

It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the XXXX as an accurate reflection of the meeting.

“Bod y cyfarfod hwn yn cadw aelodau o'r wasg ac aelodau o'r cyhoedd allan o ystafell y cyfarfod, dan Adran 100A(4) o Ddeddf Llywodraeth Leol 1972 (fel y'i diwygiwyd), yn ystod trafod yr agendwm nesaf, ar y sail y byddai'n debygol o olygu datgelu gwybodaeth eithriedig yn ôl diffiniad paragraff 12 o Ran 4 o Atodlen 12A i'r Ddeddf.”

“That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972 (as amended) for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act.”

The Chair invited the Director of Human Resources to deliver the report to Members.

Following the delivery of the report, Members RESOLVED to:

                      i.        Formally considered and agreed the first set of recommendations at paragraphs 2.1.1 to 2.2.3

                    ii.        Formally considered and agreed to defer for now, the recommendations at paragraphs 2.6 to 2.7

                   iii.        Formally considered the recommendations at paragraphs 2.3 and 2.5; and agreed to interview Mr. Barrie Davies and Mr. Steve Williams for the respective roles identified in those paragraphs

Yn amodol ar gytundeb y Pwyllgor, cynnal cyfweliadau ar gyfer y swyddi canlynol:

·         Dirprwy Brif Weithredwr a Chyfarwyddwr Cyfadran Gwasanaethau Cyllid, Digidol a Rheng Flaen;

·         Cyfarwyddwr Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol;

·         Cyfarwyddwr Gwasanaethau Priffyrdd, Gofal y Strydoedd a Thrafnidiaeth

Following a formal interview process, Members determined:

                      i.        In line with paragraph 2.4, to recommend to Full Council that Mr. Barrie Davies be appointed to the post of Deputy Chief Executive & Group Director – Finance, Digital & Frontline Services (Group Director grade) wef 19^th January 2023;

                    ii.        In line with paragraph 2.6, to recommend to Full Council that Mr. Steve Williams be appointed to the post of Director – Highways, Streetcare & Transportation Services (Director Level 2) wef 1^st September 2023.
