To receive the minutes of the previous meeting of the Voluntary Early Redundancy Panel held on 20th February 2024.

It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the 20th February 2024 as an accurate reflection of the meeting.

TO CONSIDER PASSING THE UNDER-MENTIONED RESOLUTION:

“That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act”

It was RESOLVED that the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

To consider the Joint report of the Chief Executive and Director of Human Resources containing exempt information (to follow)

Minutes:

The Panel considered the joint report of the Chief Executive, Director of Human Resources, Director of Highways, Streetcare and Transportation Services and Director of Social Services, in respect of applications for Voluntary Early Retirement with Redundancy and Voluntary Redundancy.

 

Following consideration of the report it was RESOLVED

 

To approve the under-mentioned applications as detailed in the report and listed below, subject it being noted that the narrative under 5.1 within the report should state Voluntary Early Retirement with Redundancy (and not Voluntary Redundancy) -
