To receive the minutes of the previous meeting of the Voluntary Early Redundancy Panel held on 14th September 2021.

It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the 14th September 2021 as an accurate reflection of the meeting.

To consider passing the under-mentioned Resolution:

“That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act”

It was RESOLVED that the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Voluntary Early Retirement/Redundancy Applications

To consider the joint report of the Chief Executive, Director of Human Resources, Group Director of Community & Children’s Services, Director of Education & Lifelong Learning and Group Director Corporate & Frontline Services containing exempt information (to follow)

Minutes:

The Panel considered the joint report of the Chief Executive, Director of Human Resources and Director of Education and Inclusion Services, in respect of applications for voluntary early retirement with redundancy and voluntary redundancy.

 

The Panel wished to express its thanks to all employees but in particular to SH of the Chief Executive’s (Appendix 1) and WH of Education and Inclusion Services (Appendix 2).

 

Following Consideration of the report it was RESOLVED
