To receive disclosures of personal interest from Members in accordance with the Code of Conduct

Note:

1.     Members are requested to identify the item number and subject matter that their interest relates to and signify the nature of the personal interest: and

2.   Where Members withdraw from a meeting as a consequence of the disclosure of a prejudicial interest they must notify the Chairman when they leave.

To receive the minutes of the previous meeting of the Democratic Services Committee held on 11^th September 2023.

To receive an update from the Head of Democratic Services providing Members with details of training completed to date and future training provision.

To receive the report of the Head of Democratic Services confirming the

provision of staff, resources and accommodation available to support

Members in their role.

As recommended by the Council’s Standards Committee, to receive for comment the draft Member – Officer Relations Protocol.

To review the work undertaken to date in respect of diversity within democracy within RCT.

To consider any items, which the Chairman, by reason of special circumstances, is of the opinion should be considered at the meeting as

a matter of urgency
