Agenda, decisions and minutes

To receive disclosures of personal interests from Committee Members in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

Note:

1.       Members are requested to identify the item number and subject that their interest relates to and signify the nature of the personal interest: and

2.       Where Members withdraw from a meeting as a consequence of  the disclosure of prejudicial interest they must notify the Chairman when they leave.

In accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct, there were no declarations made pertaining to the agenda.

To approve as accurate records, the minutes of the meetings held on 16^th November at 10am and 1pm.

RESOLVED to approve the two sets of minutes relating to the Appeals Committee meetings on the 16^th November 2023.

“That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act”

Members RESOLVED that the press and public be excluded from the meeting

under section 100A (4) the Local Government Act, 1972 (as amended) for the

next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of the exempt information as defined paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

TO CONSIDER THE ILL HEALTH CAPABILITY APPEAL FROM AN OFFICER WITHIN PENSIONS, PROCUREMENT & TRANSACTIONAL SERVICES.

Following consideration of the details presented to Members in respect of the health capabilities of an Officer within the Pensions, Procurement and Translational Services it was RESOLVED:

1.    To dismiss the appeal.
