DECLARATION OF INTEREST

To receive disclosures of personal interests from Committee Members in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

Note:

1.       Members are requested to identify the item number and subject that their interest relates to and signify the nature of the personal interest: and

2.       Where Members withdraw from a meeting as a consequence of  the disclosure of prejudicial interest they must notify the Chairman when they leave.

In accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct, there were no declarations made pertaining to the agenda.

TO CONSIDER PASSING THE UNDER-MENTIONED RESOLUTION

 

“That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule”

That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) the Local Government Act, 1972 (as amended) for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

TO CONSIDER THE APPEAL OF GP ( FRONT LINE SERVICES)

Minutes:

The Committee considered the appeal of G. P. of the Frontline Services Group and RESOLVED to uphold the appeal subject to;

 

 

1.    G. P. being issued with a final written warning, which will remain on his record for 18 months and that he be allowed to return to work to undertake the duties of a Collection Operative and not that of a Team Leader.  Prior to any application for a Team Leader role following the conclusion of the 18 month live warning, he should undertake the necessary training required to undertake the role.

 

2.    That the concerns of Members in respect of a view to inspect CCTV footage on collection vehicles on a regular basis be conveyed to the respective Officers.
