Due to apologies received from the Chair and Vice Chair for the meeting, the Committee RESOLVED to appoint Councillor Leyshon as Chair for the duration of the meeting.

Apologies for absences were received from County Borough Councillors S. J. Davies, M. Webber, D. Grehan and G. O. Jones.

To receive disclosures of personal interest from Members in accordance with the Code of Conduct

Note:

To receive the minutes of the previous meeting of the Voluntary Early Redundancy Panel held on 20^th November 2024.

It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the 20^th November 2024 as an accurate reflection of the meeting.

“That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act”.

To consider the Joint report of the Chief Executive and Director of Human Resources containing exempt information (to follow)

The Panel considered the joint report of the Chief Executive, Director of Human Resources and the Director of Social Services, in respect of an application for Voluntary Early Retirement with Redundancy and Voluntary Redundancy.

Following consideration of the report it was RESOLVED –

To approve the under-mentioned applications as detailed in the report

and listed below –
