APPOINTMENT OF CHAIR

Minutes:

Due to apologies received from the Chair and Vice Chair for the meeting, the Committee RESOLVED to appoint Councillor Leyshon as Chair for the duration of the meeting.

Apologies for absences were received from County Borough Councillor S. J. Davies and M. Webber.

DECLARATION OF INTEREST

To receive disclosures of personal interest from Members in accordance with the Code of Conduct

RESOLVED – In accordance with the Members Code of Conduct, the following declaration of personal interests in a matter pertaining to the agenda was declared: -

 

Mr C Jones, GMB in respect of agenda item 4, “I line manage the Applicant, however, I’ve had no involvement with the redundancy decision for this application”.

It was RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the 23rd October 2024 as an accurate reflection of the meeting.

TO CONSIDER PASSING THE UNDER-MENTIONED RESOLUTION:

“That the press and public be excluded from the meeting under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 for the next item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A of the Act”
